I started this blog for me and me alone as a way to keep my sanity and to someday share with my son. It has been more therapeutic than I ever thought it would be and I’m shocked and pleasantly surprised to learn that people are actually reading it. More importantly, they are also enjoying it! In fact, I just got my 10th follower today.

Seven Things About Me:
1. I will cry like a baby if the documents on my laptop are not recoverable (it is currently with the Geek Squad…fingers crossed!).
2. I want another tattoo (I currently have two).
3. I wish I knew how to play the piano.
4. I would love to be back stage at a Dave Matthews Band concert and meet the man himself (I am quite sure that anyone that knows me at all already knows this fact about me).
5. I would love to have a photographic memory.
6. I have never been on a diet.
7. I can’t believe my parents have been gone two years.
Now for paying it forward…. I’d like to recognize my friend Coreen’s blog, The Adventures of Captain Fussypants & Caleb the Wonder Dog. Coreen is a smart and beautiful mother of a rambunctious and adorable two year old. She is a very good writer and her blog on parenting is fun to read.
The best is yet to be and here’s to the joy of blogging!

Why are you so surprised that people are reading and enjoying your blog? It's so honest, sweet and so loving. Who wouldn't want to read all that?
Here are my comments to your 7 facts:
1. Oh Tonya! I will cry right along with you if you lose your documents on your computer. Ugh… that will be just horrible! When do you get it back?
2. Can I be there with you when your 'star' tattoo? You've wanted another one for so long, I think you should just go do it!
3. The three piano classes I had were very difficult for me! I did not enjoy them at all! Maybe if it had been one on one instruction, it would have been better.. I wish I could have taken guitar instead!
4. I would love to make that happen for you one of these days!
5. A photographic memory definitely would have made studying for tests a lot easier! I'm always incredibly jealous of people I know who have them!
6. Doesn't surprise me that you've never been on a diet.. I think diets are a bad idea. They are just asking me to broken. Its better to just eat healthy and be well-rounded.
7. I can't believe it either. I can't believe that I haven't heard their voices, their laughs, gotten their advice and much more in two years.
Congrats on your award. i read your blog every day and find it thought provoking and honest…keep it up!!
