To document her adventures in Los Angeles, Leah has started her very own blog, LA ‘n’ LA. I can’t wait to read about her new life in the City of Angels.
I am also looking forward to getting to know LA better myself. From what little time I have spent there, I haven’t been very impressed. After graduating from college, your dad lived in Brentwood (a neighborhood in west LA) for 10 years and loved it and would probably move back in a heartbeat if I was on board. He says it’s because of the anonymity the city offers offers and the endless options. I, on the other hand, have always felt that it was too congested, full of horrific traffic and shallow people, but I’m keeping an open mind and can’t wait to experience a different side of LA from the view point of a frequent visitor. 🙂

Thanks for the support Tonya! A whole post just about moi!? Neat! I feel kinda famous now..Ok, well, not really but you know what I mean.
First night here went well and I am glad that its under my belt now. I was kinda cold but that can be easily fixed-close the windows before I go to bed, wear socks, and put an extra blanket on the bed. Voila, problem is solved!
I really love my room. Its slowly getting there. I even put a picture a picture up last night on an existing nail so didn't have to break out the tool kit. I put away all my bathroom stuff and put away all the clothes mostly.
Today I am going to try getting over to Ikea and/or Target to look for a book case, some storage container for the bathroom and I'll probably think of something else while I am there. You know how that works.. Oh and the grocery store too. Another busy day ahead of me but I'm ready!
