You know you’re a mom when…
- You are thankful for your mom friends that always carry snacks. I am trying to get better at this, I promise!!
- You feel like you need a sign pasted to your forehead that says: I ONLY HAVE TWO HANDS!
- You often only have time to shave one leg.
- You offer your child multi-colored Post-It notes to play with and then find them all over your house… for days.
- You can’t do anything without a little helper following you around, only he’s no help whatsoever, but the leg hugs are cute.
- Friends get “stuck” in the backseat of your car because of the child safety locks and they can’t roll down the windows either.
- As much as your child drives you to the point of insanity, after 15 months with him, you can can say that you can’t imagine a world without them.

Oh the "helping". lol. It takes so much longer to accomplish things when you have a helper! But it does make them feel so good about themselves. And it's a little cuter than it is annoying. lol. But just a little.

*when you have had basically the SAME wardrobe for 5years, yet EVERYTIME you go to the store you 'pick up' some sort of clothing for your child. Because heaven forbid they look homelier than you.
*You have to hide your favorite goodie that you buy just for you and only for you, because we friggin deserve SOMETHING just for us! Ya, that's right I said it..NO SHAREZIES! If it is not hidden in a REALLY GOOD spot they are all gone w/in minutes you leave the house and leave your kids home alone!

A tip on the legs thing, I usually just do the bottom half of both. 😉

Awww. Life will calm down some in a few years. Well. No. I take that back. It stays hectic–maybe more hectic but in different ways.
At this point you can at least have time to yourself to shave both legs. 😉
It's crazy, isn't it? Just how it seems like it's nearly impossible to remember the time before they were here. I mean, of course we can/. But we just don't want to.
