I Did It!

Posted on April 28, 2011 Written by Tonya

I finally did something today that I have been putting off for months!

With my husband’s encouragement, I drove the car to a building I have passed countless times.

It’s exactly six minutes from our house.

I parked.

I took a deep breath and entered the building.

I met the director.

I asked a lot of questions. One of which, the answer made me bring home a pamphlet and schedule a tour.

The question: “Does my son need to be potty-trained to attend your pre-school?”

The answer: “No, we potty train for you.”

Music to my ears.

Lucas will be two in June and by Fall maybe a student. 🙂

Oh wow, we are debating on putting Sawyer in something too. I have a feeling when the big kids go in the fall he's going to feel so left out.

That is awesome they help potty train.. All of our mom's day out/preschool programs required the kids to be trained before going.
How many days will he be going?

Good for you! He's a bright and curious boy and will enjoy preschool! Our school helps potty train too and it makes life more bearable!

Woot woot! You are going to love it and so will he. It's sad to let go of the baby stage, but you have so much to look forward to!

A school that potty trains for you? How exciting. He's growing up to be such a big boy. I know that's hard to hear though.

Getting my son into a mother's day program for just a few hours day, helped me so much.

It helped him too. He has structure, people other than myself to learn from, and time away from us so he can miss us.

    Just enough.

    Good luck!
